This website is presented by the YANYO Christadelphian Focus Group.

We are brothers and sisters in the Christadelphian community who have become increasingly concerned about the influence of current culture’s ideology and practice on our faith community’s beliefs about sexuality and their sexual behavior. We are especially concerned for our children and young people.

The increasing acceptance of

promiscuity, cohabitation, homosexual practice, transgenderism and concepts of gender dysphoria therapy, over which parents of young children have little control, along with a steady flow of pornographic materials in all forms of media, pose a mounting threat to our community’s God-centered values.

Included in our list of objectives are the following:

One:

To provide a series of articles on basic scriptural teaching concerning human sexuality for those who seek to follow Christ as their Lord. This would include:

  • an understanding of God's loving purpose in creating male and female,

  • a respect for the power of sexuality and its purpose in bonding together families and bringing new life into the world,

  • a recognition that our bodies are not our own. We are created in the image of God and not in an image of our own design.

Two:

To investigate the availability and usefulness of current Christadelphian and non-Christadelphian teaching materials and resources concerning Biblical teachings which promote sound sexual principles and behavior.

Three:

To create and sponsor a website that will serve as a portal for compiled resources.

Four:

To broaden our understanding concerning the history, agenda, and accomplishments of the LGBTQ+ ideology.

Five:

To deepen our understanding and compassion for any who are, for whatever reason, experiencing same-sex attraction and/or identity confusion, who may feel isolated or condemned, so that we can develop ways to connect and offer help.

Six

To recognize that Jesus is head of the church, and that God has given him all power and authority to lead, to help, and to build up the church.

Seven

To encourage, by prayer and fasting, the seeking of guidance, wisdom, love, and strength from God through Christ.

The resources provided are not intended to inspire or foster debate with those inside or outside the community.

Our intent is to give friends and family who are facing any of these issues, and who value the teaching of God's purpose regarding the human family and sexuality, a reason and a hope for living in keeping that purpose.
